Salam, how’s everybody today? Hoping you’re in good health and excellent iman :)
Here’s a very simple yet delicious recipe that you might want to try if you’re short of ideas. This is kinda the western version of our mee goreng ;)
Oh, did I mention it’s super easy? So, here goes.
Ingredients
· 1 packet of spaghetti
· 1 onion, diced
· 3 tbs oyster sauce
· 3 tbs sweet soy sauce
· 1 tbs ground black pepper
· Capcicum, diced
· Mushroom, sliced
· Choice of protein – either prawn, chicken breast or minced beef
Method
1) Cook spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water till al dente. Drain then wash under running water.
2) Combine the two sauces and black pepper in a bowl. Mix well.
3) Heat some oil in pan and sauté the onion.
4) Add in your choice of protein. When the meat is about half cooked, add mushroom and capcicum. Cook for about few minutes.
5) Pour in sauce mixture. The sauce should coat the meat and vege well with some liquid left to coat the noodles later.
6) Let simmer for 1-2 minutes.
7) Pour the cooked noodles into the pan and mix well. Done! :D
p/s: The ingredients given are just an estimation. Feel free to add more sauce and black pepper as preferred.
